Bonus Post 2: Tindering in the Garden of Eden

One of the first things our good friend Katie does when she travels anywhere is fire up Tinder and see who matches.

Cindy's dad (age 67) described the possible dating pool in Garden of Eden (from here on out GoE):  "Here's the thing about GoE, I'm the youngest guy here".  Katie is not the least bit daunted. We are currently hatching plans to Canadianize her profile.

Here, Katie is explaining to Cindy's mom what tinder is all about.

Quote Katie, "Tinder is for when you want to find a new friend".

We were then regaled by the story of how Cindy's parents meet over 44 years ago (Mr Wood almost ran over the future Mrs. Wood with his car when they first met). They will celebrate their 44th wedding anniversary in a few months. Bravo guys.

Here's to hoping Tinder can facilitate the kind of longevity that people got by driving down the town drag strip and almost running over the woman you end up being married to for four decades.
